Key Points:

    • Hargeisa: The consulate in the breakaway region of Somaliland.
    • Garowe: The consulate in the semiautonomous region of Puntland.
  3. Recall of Somali Ambassador: The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, servving in Finfinnee (Addis Ababa), has been recalled to Mogadishu for detailed consultations. This step aims to address the escalating tensions and seek a resolution through dialogue.

Somalia said the measures were taken to protect the sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
